The famous compendium of fiqh and hadith of Malik ibn Anas, the founder of the Maliki school of law. Virtually every hadith in it was accepted by al-Bukhari. Ash-Shafi‘i said of it, "After the Book of Allah, there is no book on earth sounder than that of Malik."
