Can science and faith coexist?
Join us at Dar Al Taqwa for a special author evening with Dr Abu Mustafa Zakariya, exploring the relationship between evolutionary theory, scientific discovery and Islamic belief.
An afternoon of discussion, reflection and discovery, centred around his book Evolution and Islam Simplified: For Young Minds, Teachers and Scientists.
About the evening
Evolution remains one of the most discussed and debated subjects in science, raising fundamental questions about the origins of life, humanity and our understanding of creation.
For Muslims, these questions invite an important conversation: how do we approach evolutionary theory in light of Islamic belief and revelation?
Join us for an engaging afternoon with Dr Abu Mustafa Zakariya, author of Evolution and Islam Simplified: For Young Minds, Teachers and Scientists.
Drawing on the themes explored in his book, the discussion will consider the relationship between evolutionary science and Islamic theology, encouraging readers to reflect on the questions that arise when scientific theories meet religious understanding.
Whether you are a parent, educator, student, scientist or simply interested in exploring the relationship between faith and science, this event offers an opportunity to listen, learn and take part in a meaningful conversation.
